Well of course he loves mulberries! Babies know all. This reminds me of a lecture I heard the other day by David Kessler, former head of the FDA who's written a book about food. He says that left to their own judgment 2-yr-olds know how to self-regulate their food intake. But if they're overfed (junk food especially) as little ones, by 3 or 4 they can't self-regulate. The brain has been trained to eat more calories than needed. (Possibly not a completely accurate synopsis but close.) I thought that was so interesting.
